For those of you who have pre-ordered a manga off of Amazon and then cried out in dismay when it did not arrive by the release date listed on Amazon, there is something important you need to know!

Amazon puts up release dates arbitrarily. There is NO specific release DAY for ANY manga -- only release months! Because the amount of time it takes for a series to reach a store varies from store to store and chain to chain, by as much as two or three weeks, we cannot give an exact release date for any of our titles.

Why Amazon.com chooses an exact date is beyond my understanding. Just know that the date they choose is almost always the first day of the release MONTH that we announce for our titles! Our titles often arrive at the middle or end of the release month, depending on how quickly the book is distributed by retail chains and various distributors. This means that the Amazon.com "release day" will almost always be wrong!

This is very useful s thank you for enlightening us. Especially for me. I always preorder everything off of Amazon since I don't really have time to keep updated with my series by searching for them though bookstores. At least for me, I know BSSM is always released later than the date given. Now I know why.
