Go! Comi is always accepting resumes for freelance adaptors, translators, and layout artists interested in working on manga. If you fall in one of those categories, send your resume to:

jobs@gomedia-ent.com

Not everyone will get a response, since we get more resume submissions than we have time to respond to. If you do not hear back, consider re-submitting your resume a couple of weeks later. However, we advise against submitting it repeatedly (more than three times) on a daily or weekly basis, as at that point it will be treated as spam.

We're in the midst of developing some web comic and Oplay projects, so we'll soon be on the lookout for artists for those projects.  Most of our projects are fantasy or high school themed, and we gravitate toward art styles that are female-friendly.  If your work is influenced by manga, anime, or video games, that's a plus for some projects -- but we still want to feel like we're getting someone who has their own, unique style.

The kind of freelance artists we'll soon be looking for will include layout/pencil artists, background artists, and colorists for our web comics.  For Oplay, we'll need ass-kicking character designers who love drawing "pin-up" poses, and background artists who can draw lush, colorful locations that will be viewed (and appreciated) over and over again.

But I'll make a more detailed post about all of this when the time comes.

_ Do we just send our resume, or do we send our portfolio, too?

I have a few years to go before I send it, but I'd like to know what to send.
