So how do we get the Role Playing forum moving?  I've seen busy RP forums on other sites.  What do they do that maybe we should change here?  All suggestions welcome!!  The Go! Staff is listening.

Sometimes making things really simple helps. I know a lot of people want big RPs with huge plots and subplots. With many lands and people, but on small sites you can't get enough people. (not that I am saything this splace is small, just that not everybody might RP on it)I sometimes tend to get turned off by really big RPs.

I hang out on a small site and the RPs that were the biggest start off as: "We are stuck on a deserted island, what happen now" or "We are knights fighting a random war against a random evil force", the best plots show up as you go along not when you start. (at least from my experiences)

 Hope that helps some.

Well I think there should be something done to get things moving with the plot a little. So you don't have to think about a whole new situation when you don't fully know the whole world you are into so the first users should show a sample of RPing like a first RP post after character creation...

I hope that will help...

The thing that gets RPG boards moving is plot and setting. There really isn't much that the Go! Staff can do to help that; it depends on whether or not the users want to participate.

One thing that could help: make a futuristic plot for all the Go!Manga that have finished off{HMD< Canterella, etc.}. They can include all the characters, some of them, whatever. As long as you make a story that users and staff will be interested in, you can't go wrong. >

You could also do something similair, but instead make it a world where all the Go!Manga's characters are warped together; or maybe just see if any of the users would want to roleplay a day in your staff's office. I think you guys have a lot of aspiring manga publication workers on this site that would be interested in fantasizing what it would be like to be you.

The only other thing I can think of is making a feature where the users are noted/informed when the roleplay they participated in has updated/been posted on.  You can just put a little box at the end of the forum saying "I want to follow this topic" that's clickable.

Hope this helps

Biggest problem is that one poster disappear and other's wait for him. I removed that problem in the RP called Duel :) there are only one vs one so no need to wait for someone :)
